The holdings reflect the thematic and regional areas of the collection as well as the museum's teaching and research projects.

Here you find more than 35'000 monographs, textbooks, basic literature, reference works and 150 journals on ethnology, religious ethnology and art ethnology.

About one third of the collection is freely accessible (open stacks). The remaining media can be obtained at the info desk in the location.
