According to later biographers Ḥabaš al-Ḥāsib (3rd/9th c.) produced three Astronomical Tables. There are two manuscirpts containing different versions of astronomical tables, both ascribed to Ḥabaš al-Ḥāsib. Both are worth to be edited separately since they represent independent scientific achievements. In their cores they belong to the time of Ḥabaš al-Ḥāsib. The Tables of Ḥabaš have been used as a source by historians of astronomy since more than a century. Nevertheless, only the preface has been edited and translated. In the ongoing project an edition, English translation and commentary will be produced.
