The Wiley reference work is published jointly with the International Communication Association (ICA), the discipline's leading academic association. Encyclopedia of International Media and Communications

The Elsevier Reference Work Encyclopedia of International Media and Communication covers the entire field of communication studies and media research. It contains around 220 entries and is aimed at media practitioners, journalists and academics. For readers and researchers at all levels, the encyclopedia provides perspective and context on content, delivery systems and their myriad relationships, as well as clearly mapped paths for further research. An extensive system of cross-references links to related articles and lists of further reading appear at the end of each entry. 

The encyclopedia can be searched in various ways: by topic, alphabetically sorted article title and author.

The Discourse Glossary, a project of the University of Siegen, is an online lexicon on strategic communication.  The portal is published by the interdisciplinary research group Discourse Monitor and Discourse Intervention (DiMo Group for short), which edits the content of the Discourse Monitor. The glossary is intended to help better recognize, describe and criticize communicative strategies in public practice.
