The extensive collection of the open stacks library (approx. 50,000 volumes) includes textbooks, basic and research literature, reference works, journals and DVDs.

Film offer

The UB Ethnology & Sociology makes numerous films available, which can be searched via the catalog and borrowed on DVD.

The Swiss Anthropological Association (SEG) also offers films that can be viewed here. Searchable either via Swisscovery UniNE, or the list stored as PDF.

The library has licensed the film database ALEXANDER STREET. You can search directly in the database or search for content via various channels, such as "Anthropology". However, the resource can also be accessed directly from the swisscovery catalog (with authentication via Switch edu-ID) if a search refers to a film from this database, or if we enter the name of a resource from this database that we already know.
